Sanam Studios Dancers is an Atlanta-based professional dance troupe performing Pakistani folk, Bollywood, Middle Eastern, Afghani, Turkish, and African dance. Founded in 2006, we bring together professionally trained dancers from diverse backgrounds — united by a shared love for the universal language of dance.
Our costumes are sourced directly from the regions we represent. Some are over 100 years old. Our performances have taken us from Atlanta stages to diplomatic receptions in Houston, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Athens — and to a by-invitation appearance at the 60th World Congress of Dance Research, where we were awarded the CID/UNESCO International Certification of Dance Studies.
